Christian,I had a lead onto the Akomamba site from the alt.process forum and was surprised when you said what equipment you used to make the negatives. Would you like to give us a description of your process, the inks used and any other information about problems you experienced and overcame. This is something I am interested in and would love to get started in palladium. By the way, the pictures are great.

There is a comment on the alt.list to the effect that that material is not available in US at the present time.

THe Agfa select transparency is quite similar to the Pictorico transpareny . Through it isn't the same thing it give quite similar result. and curve use for Pictorico can be used on agfa without any problem.

Roy I work with colorized image. I 've got no problem of graining, the sky here show no grain or gritty effect. The only thig to get good result is to start with a good scanner this avoid using to much sharpening which could result in gritty effect. I work the more in 16bits and switch to indexed colored to add the color and print my file. The 1290 work quite well and deliver nice neg at 1440dpi .

    hope this help
