Lock or locking ring in NZ

Hi everyone, I've just purchased a lovely Schneider Kreuznach 5.6/210 12/370, and was kindly given a Linhof Technika plate to go with it, but alas, no lock/locking ring, rendering the lens useless to me at present.
    Anyone know
    1. If these rings are so called
    2. Where can I get the damned things from in NZ or very close by?

Thanks for any help as usual.

    Or a retaining ring.

The thing is small/light enough that any shop worldwide could stick it in an envelope. So shipping shouldn't be too horrible.

    If all the locals fail.

www.mpex.com might be able to help. What shutter is that lens using? A #1?

You could give Big Al's camera shop in Newtown a ring (number's in the yellow pages) - he may know someone, or may even have one.

Alternatively, wander round a few hardware type shops.

I actually bought the lens of big al, a very nice guy, but he doesn't have anything right now, but is looking, I would obviously like to get the lens functional so I can shoot with it as soon as possible, hence my rush!

    Hi Ann,

It's a schneider kreuznach lens, and as far as I can tell, it needs a 39mm jam nut.
Are you able to help? If so that would be brilliant.
