Name your day!
Bear in mind that Saturday 28th is a Bank Holiday weekend.

Southwold and the surrounding area is an obvious choice. The north Norfolk coast is also beautiful from Holme all the way round to Walcott. If coasts don't float your boat we have various old ruins in west Norfolk around Castle Acre and Castle Priory or the abbey and shrine at Walsingham. There are also stately homes, wildlife reserves and, of course, the fine Medievel City of Norwich. Don't recommend that on a Saturday though.
Tell us what interests you all and i'm sure we can sort a location. Except stone circles, sorry Leon. Know some lovely graveyards though!

I love the north norfolk coastline Sparx ... Holme, wells-next-the-sea and the rest are amazing places .... just a bit far for me for a day trip.
as it's a bit of a drive to get to southwold from here - it would be better to keep things close to there from my point of view - coastal, boats and groynes are always good from my point of view, but we can always go down the coast a bit to that ruined church (cant remember what it is called now) - an early start would be best for me, although being realistic the earliest after the drive would be about 9:00.

Just to wet your appetite.

Southwold... Still, almost as easy as Southend from from E. London - just up the A12. Used to visit a client near there.
Have fun folks - too far for me - besides, I would have to brave nearly 50% of the M25...
Cheers, Bob.
