Welcome Brian... If you sift back through this thread, you will see that we are meeting on the weekend of 22/23 April (most will probably be there on the Friday p.m.) at the Green Dragon Inn, Hardraw (http://www.greendragonhardraw.co.uk/). You had better book a room - or there will probably be other accommodation nearby but don't leave it too late: it's a popular area for hill walkers and other strange creatures...

    Cheers, Bob.

Six weeks to go (tick-tock, tick-tock!)
The destination is important, but so is the journey

Well, I reckon I've just booked the last room - the tent and thermals can go back in the loft! Means I can carry some camera gear with me as well (I'll be arriving by public transport, so luggage is a bit limited). Look forward to meeting you all!

    Excellent - Full House!

Welcome Rob! Look forward to meeting you there.

(In case the lack of rooms puts anyone off, I'm told that there are plenty of places to stay 5 mins down the road in Hawes (just be careful how you phrase your asking for directions...! ))

    Dear all,

I will arrive some time on Saturday morning (we try to be fairly early) - is there any chance to meet up with you, maybe for lunch or so?

Did you make any plans for Saturday at all?

    See you all soon!!

Plans at these events are generally made by Frank on the Friday evening between cheesecake and malt. We will find someway of conveying them to new comers.
