    Genie imaging London

Has anyone here had any processing done by this company.
    www.genieimaging.co.uk

    They have an advert in Amateur Photographer listing 35mm, 120 & 5x4 (c41 & E6) for £1.50 each.
How do you rate their service/qualtiy?

I've done a quick search and they get some good feedback, but i'm interested to hear what people on apug have to say.

    Thanks

    Sam

    Hi,

I've used Genie a few times now for developing 35mm transparencies.
I've always been extremely pleased with their service; slides have been clean and crisp, with good colours.
    Packaging, too, is top quality.

Their website ordering takes a bit of getting used to! But, persevere with it, Genie are well worth the effort!!

    Cheers,
    Carol

Have used them for the first time recently. Thoughts.
Turnaround was 4 days at their lab (Posted 1st class Monday, email to confirm postage back on friday, back on Saturday). But in fairness to them, they are advertising for another lab assistant.
Quality of the results were good, but i feel a bit diddled by their price structure. They charge 1.99 per roll, but thats plus vat. Also the postage back is about £2 for the first roll, then 75p-90p per roll on top of that. Clearly the extra cost for a roll is nowhere near that. So really we're talking about 3.25 a roll. Good value, but nowhere near as good as it appears when it first starts.
Still, the results are good and the price is good.
