I dropped off four prints yesterday, too! Looks like I will be around the weekend of the 11th, so we can plan to meet at the opening from 1-3, then maybe head out for a coffee after?

Hope we all jury in, but even if I don't I'll plan to go to the opening. If nothing else, to see what I was up against!

Oh. boy!!! Looks like I have some **SERIOUS** competition. Ah,, well ... if I don't survive the "first cut" ... It will be understandable.

I did a Google search about the judge - Ron Rosenberg. It will be interesting to compare his work to the work he selects.

Sure ... I'd love to meet with youse guys at the opening - and wherever.
Can we fine tune the time or ?

Geez, I sure wish I were closer to Boston. You guys have had some excellent events and this juried exhibition would have been a very attractive thing to enter. I met Ron Rosenstock at the VC conference two years ago. He seems to be a very good guy, and after teaching for (I think) 25 years, is probably very disposed to being fair and competent in his assesments.

Best of luck to you all!

I'm not expecting to get any images in, but that doesn't matter. I had the guts to enter stuff and that's something. I agree with Suzanne - meet at the opening then go for coffee and maybe shooting afterwards?

Well, I will say this... that was a quick jury process. Got all four prints back with a "declined" stamped on each. Bummed... *sigh*

Self-pity moment... (sh*t, does my work suck?? )

Ok, over that. I'd still like to see this show, and hope to meet a few folks at the opening on the 11th. Though I'll probably get there after 2pm, and we can leave for a coffee.

Well, if you submitted the same work that's on your website, the answer is a resounding NO, IT DOES NOT SUCK!! It's excellent, and, were there an environmental portrait category, would've been selected in a heartbeat. However, I didn't notice that there were any 'categories' at all so, since Mr' Rosenstock seems to be a mostly a landscape photographer, you work wasn't likely to compete well in the genre of "scenic, abstract, landscape with white doorknob on weathered wooden door" pile of 'graphs.

I'd love to see the work that was selected.
