For September the Vermont Center for Photography features a solo show of Jim Schlessinger’s color photography. The exhibit includes a series of intriguing images of colorful murals, mysterious beaches and other roadside wonders found in the US as well as in Europe and the UK. In his work, Schlessinger explores the intersection between landscape and abstraction where “The photographs are...about form informing content, analogy expanding on logic, and abstraction...growing out of a literally perceived world.” --JS

There will be an Artist Talk and Slide Show on Sunday, September 12 at 4:00 PM at the gallery.
