Highline Exhibition and Shooting Around NYC
I'll be going to the Highline Exhibition on Saturday, May 14. Here's some info: http://http://www.thehighlin...rs/032105.html

I was thinking see the exhibition, eat lunch, shoot in the afternoon. Maybe we can even shoot around the highline/sneak onto the highline. Last year, when I snooped around I found a potential spot where we can onto the highline WITHOUT climbing over any barbed wire!

Highline Exhibition
What is the Highline Exhibition and where is it in NYC? You can send a reply to my email address as I'm still learning how to "surf" the apug website.
Thanks nancyh2@verizon.net

The highline was a freight railway (elevated) that ran through the lower west side of NY. In some places the train tracks ran right into building loading docks through lots of branches.
Its not been used for a while and grass/greenery has taken it over. Its very cool. Lots of old metal, rust, shadows, etc.

Hi guys,
Sorry the link didn't work. I should have checked. The correct link is http://www.thehighline.org/
Anyway, plans changed and we went to MOMA for more than the Highline exhibition. Also saw works of Thomas Demand and Michael Wesley. Eating and shooting at the outdoor food market on 9th. Quick stopover at B&H. Then off to ICP to see works of Larry Clark before heading home. I have a corporate pass that's good anytime at these and most other galleries and museums (across the US), so we beat all the lineups. Good day had by all.
I'm planning on a couple more outings. Hope more from here can join next time.
