Gary, I think that when one of us wants to do a short notice we could just post it and see who can make it. It never hurts to try. I would have gone this past weekend but I was away which is not typical for me. So we can just post and see who can go??? What does everyone think about that method?
That of course doesn't change any longer planned get together...

We have a camping trip lined up for the weekend, going to Murphy, NC. We plan on going to Gorges State Park at some point, this is the newest park in the state and would seem to be a unique place to go visit.

Well, here we are a Crawfords Campground north of Murphy NC. The camper is parked next to a wonderfully noisy stream and we're eating supper. Yesterday we ventured out to the Tellico Plains area, today we ran out to the Sapphire area and saw Silver Run and Whitewater falls as well as Cullasaja on the way out. Tomorrow we'll return to the Tellico area and try to find the waterfalls we set out to find Friday afternoon with more information.
This WIFI connection is so slow the slowest dialup would run circles giggling wildly around it. Took me an hour to read 3 postings and get to posting this message.
Wish you guys were here, these mountain roads are a real thrill and the waterfalls gorgeous.

I hope we do too! Ouch! I'm tired! We saw four waterfalls today on a`big loop from camp to Tellico Plains up to the beginning of the Dragons Tail on around to the Tellico River and on around back into camp. Some of these dirt roads had me looking at my own license plate`as I rounded them.

Sounds like you had a great time.I need to get out and take some pictures,i am so uninspired lately.I feel it coming back to me but it has been a slow process.

I've got a few film scans uploaded from the trip. Barry (stradibarrius) came over for a visit yesterday and we processed the C-41 film all afternoon. I had 36 frames to soup and Barry had a roll of 120.
