Hey strad, your darkroom sounds a little like mine, although I can get mine just dark enough (did a fog test for my safelight and my paper shows no fog for my typical processing). Gary, my portraits are not yet ready for prime time.

Sharing is a good way to evaluate. Sometimes you get too close to your work to see what needs to be done. Most of my portraits are digital so I can't share them here.

Hi! I'm new to the site, and new to photography. I'm in Atlanta, and I was hoping I could find someone who could help me learn how to use my mom's old Canon camera from the 70s. I would recommend that you check out Spruill Center for the Arts in Atlanta. They have Basic Photo 101 classes offered at a reasonable fee.

What kind of Canon is it and what lenes do you have for it. I REALLY don't know much about it...but it's a Canon EF from the 70s. I don't know what kind of lens. I don't even know how to change the film. Is it hopeless to learn from scratch?
