Project Basho is very pleased to announce this year's accepted entries to ONWARD '10. We received a stunning 1666 images from 418 individual artists. From these submissions our juror, Debbie Fleming Caffery selected 73 photographs by 40 artists. A list of selected photographers is available on the ONWARD '10 website.

-Spring Classes and Workshops-

We have been steadily expanding our list of classes and workshops to provide a more comprehensive education program at Project Basho. This spring, we are excited to introduce numerous new and exciting workshops

This semester will be our first time offering Photographic Vision Digital II, taught by Deanna Witman. We've offered the analogue version of this class for film students over the past few years, and are now pleased to offer a digital version to act as a continuation of our very popular Photographic Vision Digital I class.

We are also very excited to invite Jean Miele to our studio to teach two new workshops: Photoshop in Black and White, and Photoshop: The Advanced Course. Miele is a photoshop expert, and internationally known as a photographer and educator. He has taught workshops concerning the "digital darkroom" around the world, and we look forward to offering his new workshops this spring.

As the holidays approach we are also offering Project Basho gift certificates, redeemable for any of our services including classes and workshops. For more information or to make a purchase contact us via email or by phone at 215-238-0928.

Thank you to everyone who participated in last Friday's Silent Auction Fundraiser. All unsold items are still available through our online gallery. It is first come, first served at this point with all works selling for the price of their opening bids. Many excellent pieces remain and would make great gifts for the holidays, but act fast as we will be closed from Dec 21st-January 3rd. Payment, shipping, and pick-up will not be available during this period.

-Project Basho Featured on PhilaPlace.org-

The video titled, "The Innate Joy of Making Things With Your Hands" focuses on how our organization was founded and the services we provide. Take a look and hear our story.
