    U.S. East Coast Wood Suppliers

I'm looking for your suggestions on east coast suppliers of cherry wood. I'm specifically looking for 3/8th's by 8 inch wide board. Thanks.

Take a look in Fine Woodworking Magazine. There are lots of ads for suppliers.

Try http://www.kenkraftcompany.com. They are great and Tonia is very helpful. I've gotten Walnut this big from them and they will cut to size for you at very reasonable prices. They are in Toledo Ohio and they are reasonable on shipping. I've used them for wood for all three of my camera builds. Great family business.

If you're looking for relatively small amounts, you could try a local custom kitchen cabinet shop. They might even have "short ends" that will fit your needs.

It might be too far out of your way but there are several vendors of hardwoods in the Berkshires. Pm me if interested.
