    My New Whole Plate Camera

Here is a photo of the whole plate camera that I just completed.
I made it out of reclaimed Honduras mahogany. Wonderful wood to work with. I have another camera on the bench now , same size, this one will have a folding tailboard. I am making this one out of cherrywood.

I missed this last year when it was first posted, wonderful. I think it's one of the best home built reproductions I've evevr seen (based on the photos).

    Well done

Great Work . The Kodak 2D looks great too. What kind of polish do you use on your timber and brass ? Do you coat the brass with something to stop it from
discoloring ? I will soon be restoring my Thornton Pickard Imperial and would love to have mine come up as good as that.l
