Update on first workshop
One of my students from the first workshop on emulsion making and coating has begun a 'blog' of her experiences with setting up a making and coating operation of her own.
She has now reached the point where she is posting some very good pictures and has solved most of her startup problems. Even though I tried to make everything as simple as possible, I failed to do so as well as I thought, but she has gone through a pretty good learning curve and is up to speed (pun intended).
You can see some of her pictures here >
This work only involves the Azo type emulsion so far, but I think she has a lot of things in store for us.
Thanks to Denise, for permission to post this URL and thanks to those of you interested in the preservation of analog photography. And, thanks to Kodak for making my work necessary.
