    Kansas in Black & White: work by Alex Hawley

    I just received a notice of Alex's show...great B&W shots of the Kansas Flint Hills etc. His show will be held in Emporia, Kansas for from October 2nd through November 10th. He will have a reception at his showing on October 13th. Alex, I wish I would go back to visit an see your collection of work. Best of luck. I truly enjoy your work and especially the print I purchased from you. It is proudly displayed in my office. Take care, Jon

    I googled you, Alex, and found your work. So very nice, all of it! (The Polaroid emulsion lift flower is just beautiful.)

    http://www.emporia.com/eac/ but this isn't much use as they seem to be revising the site, cached versions are quite out of date.

    Many thanks for the plug Jon!

    Thanks for the address Rob. Mike, take US 50 through Emporia from wherever you get off the Interstate. The EAC building is downtown in the block West of the Civic Auditorium. There's a stoplight at the intersection.

    Alex;

    Isn't that the only stoplight?

    All kidding aside, we got the card yesterday. Congratulations and our best wishes for the show.
