Default Landscape-Mindscape: The White Mountains and Bristlecone Pines

Fellow friends of craft.

Just wanted to offer an upcoming workshop (July 2008) that I believe is one of the best there is. Stuart Scofield of Mono Basin Photographics has been teaching this workshop in the White Mountains of California for 26 years. I've had the pleasure of assiting him on occasion and can honestly say I've seen people's lives changed by the combined power of place and the teaching.

The workshop is also an incredible opportunity to spend time in an environment that is otherwise incredibly difficult to stay in for any length of time. Most of the area is off limits to overnighters.

$725.00 gives you a week long intensive workshop with lodging (dorm style) and meals prepared by an excellent staff of cooks. You can even bring a spouse at a significantly reduced rate.

Cheers,
Douglas Vincent

P.S. If you're not familiar with the Whites, here's a small gallery I made one particular 2006 summer evening that can give you an idea if you're interested.

There is still room in this workshop and it's a great deal. I'm really looking forward to it.
