Default 3 live-in lith printing workshops in montana

I am scheduled to teach a series of 3 ‘live-in’ five day workshops on Lith Printing at the Photographer's Formulary in Montana in October 2008. The first is ‘from scratch’ and suitable for beginners and those with some experience alike, as we will progress to more advanced techniques. The next two are ‘continuing development’ workshops for previous workshop participants only, who have learned the essential skills and wish to develop their own vision and skills further.

Lith printing is an especially personal, interpretative and expressive printing technique, which is dangerously addictive and could seriously enhance your creative print making. It’s also quite easy to get into.

One of my students from last year described the workshop thus (modesty prevented me from writing this myself, but not from sharing it with you of course!) ...

" ‘Look at it not for what it is, but *for what else it is.’ ------ Minor White.
Tim Rudman's Lith Printing Workshop will guide you in discovering how to bring the "what else it is" out of your negatives via a special kind of technical craftsmanship through which your own artistry can find its personal highest expression. Just to be able to view Tim's lith portfolios in person is an inspiring experience of the "what else it is". His well-organized workshop is packed full of information and hands-on experience as he personally guides each individual participant to an exciting new dimension of photographic communication.” Diane Kaye

Week 2 is full but some places are still available on the 1st and 3rd weeks, so the early bird gets the worm
I hope to see you there.
