Unfortunately, this coincides with the final week of my 30-year teaching career, so my presence is more or less required there. Now a week later... hmmmmmmmm (the party begins... and there will be drinks )
I do have an 8x10 glass plater holder I picked up and I am very curious as to whether it can be adapted for wet plate work.
I am very excited for Photostock 2011 and am really looking forward to renewing old friendships and making new ones. Birchwood HO!
Cheers,
Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada
Ansel Adams had the Zone System... I'm working on the points system. First I points it here, and then I points it there...

Hi Tom, Glad you're going to make it... as a free man no less!
Bring that holder along with you and we'll see what can be done about adapting it to WP.
And congratulations on the impending retirement!

Thanks for signing up, Charlie! It's going to be a great time and a fun lead-in to Photostock.

Here's a fun little movie I made today while pouring plates. It gives some insight to the process for all of you coming. Still some space available in the workshop! (wink, wink, nod, nod)

Very nice video, Bill. I was truly impressed by the angles and editing. Did you do that by yourself? It looked like that to me. Made it even better to have planned out each shot like that.

Thanks Marek and Bob!
Yes Marek... Homemade. All you need is a shot list and a story board. I used 2 cameras as well to help keep continuity. It's a lot of fun to do.
