    Salted Paper Workshop In Roanoke

I just discovered that the O. Winston Link Museum in Roanoke, VA is having a 2 hour salt print workshop on Saturday, September 3. Given the length, it must be just a primer on the process, but here is the link in case anyone is interested.

At the same time there is an interesting looking exhibition of Depression Era photographs by Dorothea Lange and other FSA photographers.

Sound's cool. So how's it going in VA?
Kodachrome was invented in the early 1930s by two professional musicians, Leopold Godowsky, Jr. and Leopold Mannes; hence the comment that "Kodachrome was made by God and Man".

Wow, that's like 2 hours from here. I'll have to see what I need to do to bribe the wife...
