Large Format Symposium in Salt Lake City

Wasatch Photographic wants to become the local Large format headquarters.

Who would be interested in attending a large format symposoum in Salt Lake this fall. It will be hosted by Wasatch Photographic and taught by a few local LF shooters. The first one will be very basic geared to those interested in LF and just new to LF shooting but everyone is welcome. The workshop will include classroom and hands on instruction with emphisis on answering any and all questions about LF. Workshop will be Open Forum meaning anyone can ask or answer questions. More workshops will be held at later dates to cover more advanced topics with in depth coverage.

Technology is not a panacea. It alone will not move your art forward. Only through developing your own aesthetic - free from the tools that create it - can you find new dimension to your work.

Ken sold to Paul and Robert who owned Far West. They want to support film and LF. There are about 5 ro 6 LF cameras in there right now. They want me to spear head the idea of a symposium. I was going to talk to you, Jason and a couple of others about teaching it with me.

I'd attend, assuming that I can attend not owning LF at this point, but interested, and that of course I don't have to work that day.

This first time is for anyone interested or just new to LF. You dont need a camera. We will be starting with the very basics.

    Sounds just about right, then.
But I'm not that smart, and I definitely cannot lift heavy things. Also, not that great with opening jars, either.
