MN North Shore Winter Trip

dang, Ike...this sounds interesting. I'm supposed to not take much vacation my last year at the FD, but this might be too good to pass up. Are you thinking of pooling up on transportation and renting a van, in case some people want to fly? Bill, would you fly or drive to MSP?

Bill, would you fly or drive to MSP?

Hi Dan,

I'm actually flying into Duluth and Ike is going to pick me up. I arrive on the Friday night and fly out on the following Friday in the early afternoon. I've got a lot of miles to cash-in and this is as good a time as any. I have to be back home on the Saturday and it is a good 2 day drive from here. It would be great to have you along Dan! Got a feeling this is going to be a great trip.

Well, the first steps in winning my better half over to the idea that it's a great idea to go to the North Shore in the middle of winter is over. She doesn't mind, it seems. But I'll only be able to show for a couple of days, no way I can swing the full week. Now I have to decide on which days... Oh mercy (like John Wesley Harding said).
