Argentone FB papers are available again here in Japan

Hi,
Do you remember the Argentone papers ?

I thought Argentone papers are gone, but a few days ago they showed up again in Japan.
First thing I thought was that the dealer in Japan had stocks(that also I heard weeks earlier), but the package which my friend got today said its expired date is 10/2015.
A package I bought lately has expired date 07/2011.

Do you have any informations ?
Are they still in production ?

I liked Argentone papers very much. They are really nice.
I hope they are back actually, but it seems to be too good to be true...

Any ideas ?

I've never heard of them but years ago there was a company called Argenta in what was West Germany that manufactured photographic papers. Their factory apparently was on land worth a lot of money so they closed operations and sold their premises.

There's a thread about Argentone from 2009 on APUG. The origin of the paper is still unclear, I suspect it's just another rebranded paper. If it is it would be interesting which one. In case it's a genuine paper it would be nice to know the manufacturer.

The data sheets are identical to those from Foma.
