Collect888. Please help me understand your thinking. I've just described what chinese 'labor unions' cannot do by law. Those things they are proscribed from doing are the very activities which define a union. They are therefore not a union. When the worker in the union has no influence at all whatsoever and is not allowed to protest conditions which are set by the 'union heads' who happen NOT to be workers but politicians in the communist party, you still insist on calling them unionized?

Your camera analogy does not hold any water. If you wanted to make it accurate, then you would need to describe your camera as one which is not light tight, has no place to put film, has no lens, and oh by the way, if press the right button... plays music. And yet you insist you have a camera.

My sources for Chinese labor union information come from 3 places. 1: personal experience. 2: well documented research 3: discussions with ex-patriot Chinese workers.

Logic and reason are clearly not your strong point. Perhaps you should stick to photography

Your earlier post shows you thought China government bans the labor union. That alone enough to tell me you don't have the basic knowledge in the field. Frankly your knowledge about China is probably from mass media. And even this knowledge is largely discounted because you are obviously not a good enough student. Admit you might not watch CNN carefully and got the fact the opposite way . And now repeat this three times: "It is Wal-mart, not Chinese government, try to ban the labor union in its Chinese store". You can start to do a lot of research about "Chinese labor union" now.

Political discussion is never my favorite. I was pointing out your lack of very basic knowledge on this subject. Without knowledge is easy to improve. The ignorance to the correction is the true issue here.

Now let's get back to that pinhole camera.

    Collect888: I insist this is a camera
SP: It is not light tight ...
    Collect888: in elegant Holga style.
SP: has no place to put film
    Collect888: digital pinhole?
    SP: has no lens
Collect888: there is a tiny hole there
SP: and oh by the way, if press the right button... plays music
Collect888: sure if you press that MP3 button
SP: My sources for camera information come from 3 places. 1: personal experience. 2: well documented research 3: discussions with ex-patriot Chinese camera builders ...

    Collect888,

Thank you for your permission to participate, but I don't need it, but I do appriciate you giving it, and who personally attacked you????? I said you were being mean, on this thread, I didn't say anything about your character or attack your person, just said your actions in this thread were mean.

You really seem to be abasive around here, you were when you were here last time, and now your saying I personally attacked you...

    Your funny.

    Satinsnow,

You did not put even one word on the discussion itself. Instead you were commenting people not nice, and later, mean and abasive. That is not appropriate. Discussions can be very hot but this kind of personal attact is not welcomed.

No I never comment you are nice/mean/abasive or not. You are nice or not nice is not the point of this discussion. This is not an event for beauty pageant.

    Thanks Collect888

Sorry to offend your sensibilities, your last two comments on this thread to SP has had nothing to do with this thread either...

Have fun..sorry you feel my comments were not appropriate, your comments to me in the past have went beyond appropriate, and into the area of lible, so I think we are fair.

and in case you have not noticed, this thread has nothing to do with pinhole cameras!!

And I could care less what you feel is appropriate

Ok you are using this discussion as a tool for breaking even ... and you think we are fair now.

I suggest it is a good time for you to go somewhere else - there are a lot of other interesting discussions going on, if you don't want to get involved into the discussion and just want to get even with someone.

What is it with you that you think you can dictate, where I post, what I post and when I post?

Please explain this to me, like I am a kid?, cause I admit it, I am a big doof, but what gives you that power over what I do???

    Please explain....

It really don't matter to me, but I find it amazing, that you can drop in everyonce in a while and think you can tell someone where to go, what to do and how to do it, you did it with SP and now your attempting it with me..

You have to remember this is a public forum and as such, anything you post is subject to someone making a post back to you..

And back at you, you can post elsewhere also...as your "pinhole" camera posts have absolutly nothing to do with the thread at hand, which the subject matter was what Kodak had posted on their website, and I don't remember Kodak posting anything about "pinhole" cameras, so you as well have tried to change the direction of the thread.

That is my suggestion, not dictation.

Again, there are a lot of other interesting discussions going on. They will be great for you, if you don't want to get involved into the discussion and just want to get even with someone here.

I just don't want to wasting time and keep concentrated in that long and hard discussion with someone else. You are welcome to participate in the discussion, though not the stuff like "we are fair", etc. , etc. Those are nonsense and are the noises for the discussion.

BTW, you said, "... the subject matter was what Kodak had posted on their website, and I don't remember Kodak posting anything about "pinhole" cameras ... "

Sure you are working on getting even. How can you remember something like this. Here is a link on Kodak's website that will show a nice page about pinhole photography and a really nice photo gallery.

    http://www.kodak.com/US/en/corp/maga...raphy/2001_10/

    Worth a look! Highly recommended.

Now let's get back to that pinhole camera ...
