    Fuji Velvia 50

An article in "Amateur Photographer" 25/11/2006 indicated that, due to demand, Velvia 50 was to be re-launched in Spring 2007. Did it happen, and if so, why can't I find it anywhere?

It was launched in UK first, and has wide availability, but probably not at the small stores. Try Calumet.

Thanks roteague, I deal with Calumet but last time I checked their website, a couple of weeks ago, I could only find Velvia 100. I'm off to check it now.

Unfortunately, you are still subject to it being in stock. Camera stores, even Calumet, don't often keep film in stock like they used to. I can't tell you much about the UK, but I'm sure someone else will jump in with a suggestion or two.

B&H New York has it for $123.99 for a 20 roll 135mm ProPack. They also have 120, 220, 4x5 and 8x10. I know this doesn't help much, unless you want to order from the US.

www.7dayshop.com and www.thedarkroom.co.uk both have it in stock. I picked up a propack of 120 rolls from the jacobs store near me in Newcastle

Thanks again roteague, at least you've confirmed it's around. My stock of 120 and 5x4 is OK but my 35mm is getting tight. I've been trying 100 and I'm quite pleased with the results - but I haven't printed to A4 (35mm) as yet.
