Not hard to neutralize especially in the small quantities you would deal with for a couple of prints...

It's the closest we can come to a kangaroo in North America. It's the only marsupial that lives here so far as I know.

Maaaaate! A 'roo would be substantially bigger this and in a few different colours. But a 'roo of any type is not nearly as handsome as an opossum! Nice little fella.

The photo is flattering. They look rather like mangy rats.

On the subject, Ciba bleach is nasty only in it's ready-to-use and usable form, and then nasty only in the sense of being corrosive. It really does neutralize with baking soda. For a home user it IS that simple.

Drew, you're going to talk me into ordering up some Ilfochrome. I have loads (well, 17 rolls I think it was) of 35mm Kodachrome slides I shot in 2010 before the end of processing, and some of them would make wonderful Ilfochrome prints. Kodachrome and Ciba/Ilfochrome are a great match, but I dare say the box of 4x5 E100SW in my freezer could be paired with some Ilfochrome to good affect too. Maybe order up some Astia while I can still get the left overs. Hummm....

On the Ilford website it seems they do a transparent Ilfochrome too!!!

There's is some pretty strong evidence that opossums are into digital photography and are not advanced enough for darkroom work. First of all, I've never seen one in the darkroom. They have
oversize butts and are lazy, obvious evidence that they get little excercise and spend a lot of time
in front of a monitor. They have a pouch only big enough for a cell phone camera. Their hair is unkempt and they are nearsighted, just like most computer geeks. And fourth, they will eat just about any kind of garbage and junk food that no one else wants, which is also symptomatic of the
software techie culture.
