The land and equipment as scrap is probably more valuable than the operating plant, buildings and revenue from product.

Could be a great news story in this - I noticed that the cessation of Polaroid production featured on the ITN 10 o'Clock news, Trevor McDonald etc. the other evening. I can quite easily imagine the follow up "British company Ilford takes on the manufacture of the Polaroid products...."
