Heather, that is a very fair point. I have seen some of his prints and they are stunning. Thanks... Just getting a little jumpy. I had hoped to at least put some film through the camera before now but it only turned up on Thursday.

Although I would like to do some Pd printing and HP5+ doesn't seem to generate enough contrast from some texts I've read. Both Pd and 7x17 are pretty new to me but the Ilford ULF order deadline is upon us. How much is anyone buying. Literally a years supply or laying down some?
HP5+ has no problem getting to the contrasts required for Pt/Pd. I use it all the time, and my 11x14 order has just arrived at Silverprint

So how much film did people order? Just enough for a year and hope Ilford do the run again next year? I've only ordered 6 boxes of 7x17 HP5+ as I cannot afford anymore and I had previously scavanged some (not alot) old stock of FP4+ and HP5+ from various places. My stash will last me at least a year but after that I'm just hoping Ilford do the run again. Any thoughts?

I hope I've ordered enough for the year. It doesn't make sense to stock up for longer than that because I'm sure they'll do another ULF run in the future. Anyway, I can't afford more than I've ordered so if they don't do another run then I'll deal with that problem when I run out of HP5+.

Dear All,

Buy only what you need for the year, we will most certainly do the ULF run about the same time next year.

Simon, I don't know if it is already over for this year (have not found anything about the progress), but if not I'd like to also take part in it.

I'd be interested in Quarter plate ( 3 1/4"x4 1/4") HP5+ (4boxes) or if not possible in this size, then in Half plate size ( 4 1/4" x 6 1/2") HP5+ (2boxes) so I can cut it in halves.

Also please, what retailer should I use to place my order? (being in the Czech Republic, Europe)

Thank a lot

Jiri
