I've got it on my DVR and if I can figure out how to put it on a VHS tape, I'd be happy to do so.

I plan on attending. I can come on Friday after work, as well as on Saturday and Sunday.

Sounds like some folks are interested in the "Detroit Disassembled" exhibition - I am too, so if that is part of the weekend, great!

Also, earlier in the thread, some mentioned interest in looking for our local "disassembled" places, so maybe there is a theme developing for this weekend.

Regardless, I am up for anything, and look forward to the weekend.

When should we expect you? Three maybe four people from the Midwest LF asylum are talking about coming. Lee & Sue from Dayton are coming. Talk to me! Who else will be here and when? Are there any changes in the evolving plan that people would like to see? Will there be enough that chipping in for the $111.00 Porta Potty is reasonable. Bring prints to show and tell.

I just made a VCR tape of it. Thanks Jeff B. for pointing out the play time. The tape will be available to look at if anyone is trying to decide whether to go to the show or not.

Looking at the tape I realized he uses the Linhof Technikarden 45 model I am trying to sell. I never got pictures like that out of mine. Ask him if he wants a backup camera?

Reading through the thread again, happily there seem to be a wide range of interests. Let me toss out a tentative schedule and see what your thoughts are. Please feel free to offer variations, juggle times, places and specifics.

In the past we have done one Mexican and one Indian dinner. Have you liked these places? Should we continue? In May several of us went to the two waterfalls near the Richfield motels. Because there were different arrival times and hikes we skipped the 10:00 AM coffee and rolls at our house and met after the waterfalls at the Richfield Family Restaurant for brunch, show and tell and tell and tell. It seemed to be very popular with six of us.

    Tentative Schedule:

Friday: Meet and Greet at our house at 5:00 PM.
Show and Tell if there are enough people or late afternoon shooting around the pond and woods. We could do Mexican or go to the Musketeers a mile away for pizza and burgers. Think about which you would like to do.

Saturday: There has been a mix of interest in rough terrain. The two waterfalls Blue Hen and Buttermilk are about a mile from the Richfield Family Restaurant. Ritchie or Kendall Ledges are about seven miles away. The Coliseum Grasslands is half way between. All three places can be visited at day break or later. Brunch can be when people show up at the Richfield Family Restaurant.

In the afternoon people can swap places or we can do show and tell. Talk to me about dinner interests.

Sunday: Early risers go where they want. Meet for rolls and coffee 10:00 AM our house. The Akron Art Museum opens at 11:00 AM and is about a half hour drive from us. Those who want to see the show can go. Those who would prefer to shoot can. If anyone is interested in any of the other places described earlier in the thread I can take you or direct you there and see the show another time.

What are your thoughts? Who else is coming that hasn't already spoken?

If you have not been here before and would like to join us, send me a PM with contact information and an emergency contact. I will return with directions. If you shoot film and enjoy like minded people and have read this far, you are more than welcome. Bring prints to show and tell.

We now have three; Jim T, Rick T and Mike S coming from the Midwest Large Format Asylum and a fourth Sherman possibly coming. Welcome all. Rick mentions that he has just self published a book that I am looking forward to seeing. I met them at their print review in February. Nice people and good photographers - film of course. I think we will all enjoy. Jim T has a 25 image show going on right now in the Grand Rapids area.

    Thanks for coming.

    John,
I'll be there, waiting to see when a co-worker gets back from vacation before I know for sure which days. If all goes well could be there Friday night... fingers crossed.

Jeff, you break up that darn wedding yet?
