Hi all,

one last time the updated list of participants. We are 52 participants right now. My test run of the groupings show a number of 48 or 49 cards for the people who signed up for the max. I will try to send out the address data on February 4th (my time) and I am 6 hours ahead of the US east coast. So if anyone who signed up for the max feels that the max might be too much, there is still time to correct

Is this the final number? I want to print this week to try the vintage paper and see if it works for postcards. (It's not very heavy weight)

Hi Lynda,

53 is the final number and here is the final list of participants. I will post the address data on Monday. With the signup for hte MAX you will end up in a group of 47, 48 or 49. I changed the algorithm slightly so that the people going for the max end up in bigger groups than before and more cards will find their way.

ciao

Hi All,

The signup is now closed and I am going to send out the PMs with the address data within the next one or two hours. Please have a look at the address list. The first address on your list should be yours. If you would please verify that this is the correct address? If it is not the correct address, please send me a PM soon so that I can send out corrections to all the people on your list.

I am looking forward to this exchange. Usually I try to send my cards early, but this time I do not even know which negative I should use. But I have several in mind

I will open a new thread to collect feedback for this round and I try to find someone to make it sticky on the top of the thread list. For the signup I was not heard by the gods, so this time I tried to behave well and maybe we will have more luck with it

ciao

rst - I have too many choices too. I eventually settled on one today and am working on getting it started...
One question though, what do you write in the message section on the back to people you don't know? Just print info I guess?

Hi Heather,

I usually print my labels with information about the subject of the card and also some info about camera, film, developer etc. Then when all cards are labeled, I write some some personal comments for the people I know and some more general comments for people which are new to me by hand.

Over time you get to "know" many of the participants and remember the many cards you received from them. Sometimes when you take a postcard out of the mailbox you will know without looking on the back of the card who has sent it.

Have fun and ciao
