I received Johnny and Cara's postcards today also.
Johnny I love the dog, who I thought was a wolf at first and was worried for your sanity let alone safety!
Cara lovely soft image and from one newbie to another, welcome to the exchange

Over the past several days, I received Mooseontheloose(Rachelle) and Cara's cards. Two wonderful images. Rachelle, I find I am often picking images from my travels - perhaps they seem more "postcardy"? Cara, I'm curious if you would share any details how you printed it? It came out very nicely on the Ilford postcard paper.

I've selected one potential postcard and I'm developing my most recent rolls, hoping there will be another postcard candidate among the images - these early images are getting me psyched to get into the darkroom to print postcards!

Jon, unfortunately I have no secrets to share. This was my first time
printing on Ilford portfolio paper and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The negative already contained a lot of contrast which necessitated a lot of burning on the statue. I used Illford 2000RT developer. I toned half of the cards in thiourea and the other half in iron blue.

I fell in love with this image. I am glad it was well received.

So far, I have received cards from Cara, Rachelle and Alan Peck.

They are fantastic and I am very excited about this. (This is my first exchange)

I am printing mine right now and hope you all will be pleased with what I am sending.

Received the first card of my first postcard exchange today, from Rachelle. Very nice! A picture taken in Ireland by a Canadian living in France. A real international exchange this.

Sile, Dakota is part wolf, but the ears betray her uncertain ancestry.
