I received my first card today from mooseontheloose (Rachelle).
It is titled "Basilique du Sacré Coeur, Montmartre"
It is very nice work in HIE - one of the first I've seen which includes people and movement. I love the shadow of the young soccer player.
Thanks Rachelle.
Just 23 more to go .

I got three today.
Matt, I love the tonality and detail that came out in your print. I have a NWR about five miles from home and this is a scene I love.
Lori, great subject matter. A lot to absorb and it is very engaging. I love it.
Rachelle. Holy Wow! That is simply amazing. Nice use of filters? Burning? Don't tell me. Don't wanna know. You nailed it.

As CR Kennedy the importer of Ilford product, refuses to import Ilford Postcard stock, unless there is any old stock in Australia, you will not be able to source any inside Australia.
I bought 1,000 sheets from Germany a couple of years ago, I'm almost through that lot and I think I will just cut up other stock to size for the future.
Mick.
Thanks for the update Mick,
I made some calls this morning trying to locate stock and have hit the same hurdles. Now I need to decide whether I get the smaller stock or cut up larger sheets. If Aust post are happy with the smaller size, that will probably be my option

Thanks for the kind comments Matt and Chris! I have to admit that the image was just me finishing off a roll of HIE -- I don't know why I don't have more people in my HIE shots -- it's a lot more dynamic than my usual stuff.
Chris, I know you don't want to know, but that's a straight print (and I realized I forgot to mention in my info on the back of the card - standard red 25 filter). I try to avoid using images that require a lot of dodging and burning for the postcard exchange unless it's an easy dodge or burn (like just the foreground or a corner or whatever). I just don't have the time or patience when printing 50 small cards!

An update on the Ilford Postcard Paper in Australia: I asked at Total Photographic Supplies this morning and they did the run around for me and found the warehouse had 2 boxes of it in Pearl, sitting around. I do assume this is old stock - apparently the whole Portfolio range has never sold well in Australia, and they don't keep much on hand in any size. Which is fairly sad.
I've ordered both though, and we'll see.

Two received today:
"Signs" from lorirfrommontana - A couple of gashes on the print thanks to postal machines. Quite a list of names, and I suspect a story there as well.
"Basilique du Sacré Coeur" from mooseontheloose - I've got to get some high speed IR film (ADOX 820 at IE1 is way too slow). A very interesting picture.

Sent mine off this morning, its no little task but worth it.
