I have just sent out a PM to all members so if you didn't get one please let me know ASAP. Do not send your print until October 6th to allow for address corrections just in case, heaven forbid, I screwed something up or someone moved since they sent their address and forgot to tell me. Your PM will also contain your own address; please check it and notify me at once if it is incorrect or out of date.

Please keep us informed and post here when you've sent or received your print.
Optionally, once the print makes it to the destination, you can upload the image of the print to this thread and the Gallery:http://www.apug.org/gallery1/browseimages.php?c=512
(You have to be a paying member to be able to upload to the Gallery)

The original BPX Introduction Thread is here: http://www.apug.org/forums/forum182/110811-introduction-blind-print-exchange.html

I wish you all a lot of fun in this BPX with printing, sending & receiving

    Hi,
Here is your address and the address of your recipient.
If your address needs correcting, PM me ASAP!
Please wait until October 6th before sending.

    Your address:
    (...)

    Your assignment:
    (...)

It’s not obligated, but it would be nice to include a note or a letter explaining what, when, where & how then image/print was made. And maybe telling a bit about who and where you are? It’s always nice to receive a letter with your print.
Please don’t forget to mention your name, so the recipient knows who the sender is.

Please try to print and mail your image before the deadline. Someone else is making an effort to send you a print as well.
If life interferes with your darkroom time, don’t worry. It happens. Health, family and work are important too. Just let us know you will be running late. If for some reason you can’t fulfill your obligation at all, just PM me as soon as possible.

Please post on the BPX21 thread when you actually dropped off the package at the post office and when you received a print from another member. Mounting and boarding the print is not obligated, but would be a nice bonus. Please pack the print carefully. If you ”just” stick it in an envelope, all corners will be bent on arrival. At least stick it between two layers of oversized cardboard for protection.

It would be nice if you could scan your print before sending it, and post the image (after the recipient confirmed receiving it) to the BPX21 thread (and the APUG Gallery). If you can’t scan the image, you could make a photo of it with a digital camera, to give us an impression of your gift.

    Thank you,
    Bert from Holland (TheToadMen)

Thanks Bert! There are no problems with my address.

I have spent the last couple of nights making a print to send on the 6th. I think I'm happy but I'll take another look after the weekend and make sure it's the one I want.

    Looking forward to this!

Hi, I'm experiencing a slight delay so it looks like my print will be in post early January.

I didn't send a print in October. After further reflection I decided it wasn't the one to send and I'm glad I didn't. I've now made something I like a lot better.

Happy to report that, as of today, my print is now headed somewhere across the Atlantic Ocean. Fingers crossed that it makes it!

My carefully laid plan of printing over the xmas holiday failed, too much holiday and family and not enough darkroom time.

I'll ship my print as soon as I can.
    Regards

    Birger A.

Hi everyone. I wish you all the best for 2015!!

Could everyone tell me his/her status, if you've sent your print and/or received one, by sending me a PM?
If you haven't been able to send one yet, don't worry but please let me know. Sometimes life intervenes, I know.
I posted mine just recently as well.

If for some reason you won't be able to fulfill your obligation in this BPX please PM me ASAP, so I can arrange something.

I'll make an update at the end of the week.

Somehow I got unsubscribed from this thread... weird... anyway, I have not sent my print as I lost my previous darkroom and haven't been able to get my 8x10 saltzman up and running yet, is it ok to send two 8x10's instead of the larger 11x14 I had planned? Or should I wait another month and when I can actually print, then send the 11x14?

Also as a side note, I still have not received the print from the previous BPX from the other person, nor the current BPX.
