The lists are now completely full. I would love to be able to accommodate everyone who expressed interest but unfortunately excess numbers appears to have been one of the downfalls in previous travelling cameras!

So the finalised list stays as ten a piece and is as follows: =

    The US and Canada
    1. TheBanana
    2. Lmn
    3. John_Nikon_F
    4. Ron LarFor4X5
    5. toro_mike
    6. Flatulent1
    7. J_Rollinger
    8. Brian Legge
    9. Matt_King
    10.Cdholden

Europe and the Rest of the World
    1. Síle
    2. K_Jupiter (in Aachen)
    3. Steve Smith
    4. Erik_Prestmo
    5. Tony Egan
    6. Pcyco
    7. Black Dog
    8. Mooseontheloose
    9. Sandholm
    10. cmo

I will organise the list dependant on the best travelling path and get the cameras in the mail by early next week.. (Any assistance as to the best path for the US and Canada would be greatly appreciated.. I reckon I have Europe and the Rest of the World sewn up!)

Also I will mail the US and Canada camera to the first person on the list before we begin so that both cameras leave the Mother Ship at the very same time..
Looking forward to this.. and with any luck... we'll be home the same time as camera 6!

Couple of questions, pardon me if I'm being particularly dense at the moment...
I'm assuming we're shooting Holgas. What film? And is there any particular 'theme' or concept?

I am beginning to resent being referred to as 'half-fast'.
    Whatever that's supposed to mean.

    Your denseness is forgiven..

Unfortunately we are not shooting Holga's on this particular round.. That had been the original plan for round 7 and hasn't been completely shelved for the future.. hopefully in the not so distant future we'll be Holga'ing our way across the world..

The idea behind getting this round started is to see if we can beat home camera 6 and in a way to prove that the idea of a travelling camera does in fact work. It can be frustrating for those waiting.. but is still a project well worth doing and enjoyable to take part in..

    Hopefully you'll still take part

I would still participate if we were circulating a paint-by-the-numbers clown portrait and we all had to append a wad of chewing gum (used) to the appropriately colored number.

"He took to writing poetry and visiting the elves: and though many shook their heads and touched their foreheads and said 'Poor old Baggins!' and though few believed any of his tales, he remained very happy till the end of his days, and those were extraordinarily long "- JRR Tolkien, ' The Hobbit '.

    Travel Itinerary for Camera 7

To the best of my knowledge this is the best way for Camera 7 to travel in both continents in the speediest time.. I am awaiting a response from J_Rollinger to see where to put him in the list..but otherwise this is the running order..
If I don't have your address please expect a PM for addresses soon and hopefully we'll have this off this weekend..

    3. lmn - WA, USA
    4. John_Nikon_F - WA, USA
    5. Brian Legge - WA, USA
    6. Flatulent1 - WA, USA
    7. Toro_mike - Colorado, USA
    8. Cdholden - TN, USA
    9. Ron LarFor4X5 -NY USA
    10. J_Rollinger?

EUROPE AND THE REST OF THE WORLD
    1. Síle
    2. K_Jupiter (in Aachen) Germany
    3. Cmo - Germany
    4. Pcyco - Austria
    5. Sandholm - Switzerland

    7. Steve Smith - Isle of Wight
