6x15 Film Holders
Follow ULF shooters,
Having recently joined APUG, I find the quantity of information stupendous.
I recently acquired a 6x15 camera from India and need to find film holders for it – the one that came with the camera is a book style plate holder. I understand that there may be someone in China who is making holders that size. If anyone knows if that is so, please send me the contact information.
Thanks,
John Roseborough

Is that inches or centimeters?
-
OOPS - That's inches.

John, that is an interesting format, dont believe I have seen that one....there was a recent post about another camera from China with an "unusual format" I believe the poster had some holders made in China...custom holders are probably the way to go..I like the S&S holders

Dave,
Thanks for the reply! Can you point me to the poster who had holders made in China?

John,
The poster is Hugo Zhang. Take a look at this thread, http://www.apug.org/forums/showthrea...ighlight=10x20. Please let us know how it work out.
Jason.

It would probably be best to have some filmholders made for the camera and have the back altered to fit the holders. If you are interested you can go to my website to get more info on the S&S filmholders which I can order for you.

Geert,
Thanks! The same seller now has an 8"x15" camera on ebay. I wonder where these odd sizes originated?

Emile,
Thanks for your URL. I took Sandy Kings Carbon printing workshop a couple of weeks ago and showed him the camera then. He suggested that I talk with Hugo Zhang. I think primarily because I don't want to modify the camera back unless absolutely necessary. I'll let you guys know what happens.
Thanks,
John
