    Two 11x14 Philips and a 8x20 Canham on e-Bay

    Look at these two auctions:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/R-H-Phillips-11x...QQcmdZViewItem and http://cgi.ebay.com/K-B-Canham-8x20-...QQcmdZViewItem

Not one, but two R.H. Phillips 11x14 and a K.B. Canham 8x20! I'm wondering who the Tooth Fairy can be?
Unfortunately, with deep regret, I must state that, I am not connected with the seller!

The Tooth Fairy is more like the grim reaper. These are from an Estate Sale.

    Thanks Andy,

I saw those. They were posted over at Large Format Photography Forum.

Are the backs on the 11x14 reversible?

Quite a collection there. There's also a 5x7" Home Portrait Graflex reflex camera (I'm standing pat with my 5x7" Press Graflex for now).

Now he has added an 8x10 Phillips Advantage. Mine is early 1990s and a higher serial number. The Advantage series does have a reversible back. On mine the springs holding the back in place had lost their tension. Bending back to the proper shape did not solve the problem. Dick Phillips had replacement parts.

Who in the right mind would want one of those 11x14 Phillips! No one is even going to bid on those! I suggest no one bid on them!

I totally agree, too techy, I'd prefer something with a nice wood grain and high gloss finish, also none of the cameras offered match any of my lens boards.

Tempting... but I am a bit puzzled as to how one would go about bidding on 1 or 2 of these cameras. What I mean is, if someone places a bid for one camera, they will always be outbid by someone wanting both, or am I missing something here?
