Hello Steve,
I'd like to have 200 also.
Kind regards,
Geert

Can't say I blame you.
The contact person has asked me not to publicize their web address until site is updated to include the 7x17 option, likely by next week.
Below is an exact quote from their standard sheet film size offerings:
Sheet Film Sleeves are archival quality polypropylene with 3 mil durability. We use only top quality, archival polypropylene material without any dyes, tints, or harmful substrates to manufacture our Sheet Film Sleeves. Ideal for important document storage.
All Sheet Film products are 3mil thick.
Manufacturer tells me that they will offer 7x17 sleeves with 5/8" fold over in lots of 100, 500 and 1000 for anyone interested and will keep an ongoing stock to address future orders.
Patience will pay off as the last batch of these were considerably higher in price from another vendor. Further, there will be a slight increase per 100 to allow for individual packaging instead of a drop ship to me of 1500 sleeves.
Cheers !

See if the 7x17 run can be divided between 7x11 and 7x17
I have enough custom sleeves to last me for a while... but you may want to check into having 7x11 sleeves made from the same run.
The firm that I worked with a few years ago was willing to split the manufacturing run between 7x17 and 7x11 as long as the stock of 7" tall stock (in a roll) was fully consummed... For them it was just an adjustment to the cut length from the roll...

While not an issue (I use 8.5x11 now), it would be nice to have some 7x11 and I would be in for at least 100, maybe 500 depending on price.

Excepting orders for 7x17 film sleeves
The Climax Photo Company http://www.climaxphoto.com/ is now taking orders for 7x17 archival clear film sleeves on an individual basis. You can access the ULF page directly here http://www.climaxphoto.com/wide_format_sleeves.htm as indicated the price is slightly higher to accommodate individual ordering and packaging. 7x17 is $35.00 / 100 or slightly less for larger quantities.
Also, they have listed several other ULF popular sizes per requests in the above thread. Further, they tell me that the largest width they can produce is 10” so sizes such as 14x17, 12x20 and above are not possible with this company.
Again, thanks for all the interest for the 7x17 size and as the site says they will begin shipping ULF sizes after Dec. 1,, 2008
Cheers!

I just heard from Randy at Climax Photo regarding 7x11 sleeves. Depending on the response for the 7x17 sleeves they may be able to run some 7x11
Some have placed orders already, outside chance they will ship prior to Thanksgiving.
Great job everyone!

That would be great, Thanks for the update Steve.

Thanks, Steve. So just to confirm--those of us who want a couple hundred of these should order directly from Climax, and not through you?

That's correct David,
Randy at Climax Photo was so taken with the sizable and immediate response he has decided to make 7x17 a standard offering.
