The cause of the slow traffic and grid lock in northern Virginia is the people who live there. They are lip lazy and shorten Northern Virginia to NOVA. Not "nova" as something new or a new star, but "nova" which in Spanish means "It does not move" and when used in reference to motor vehicles means "its broken down".
Thank God I live west of Richmond, so traffic is not as bad.
At the hint of snow the minimum acceptable speed whether or not the road is paved, regardless of road width or number of vehicles is 70 miles per hour. Therefore again this morning we have to deal with ... aw heck just take a look ...

I leave the digital work for the urologists and proctologists.
LOL, I've an old photo of that exit that I have been looking for to post to this thread. My undergrad was in Toledo, Ohio, and at one point my mother was traveling to Troy (from the Cleveland area) for work for several months. I decided to visit her, and my father gave me directions. He said, "You want to exit at, and I'm not making this up, Exit 69; Big Beaver Road."
That is the only reason I'd brought a camera with me.
