    Maximar vs, Trona

Is the only difference between the Maximar and Trona the f3.5 lens on the Trona instead of the f4.5 on the Maximar?

The Trona is one step up from the Maximar. It has a more robust front standard and some of the 'English' models had falling front

Trona is also a name for hydrated sodium bicarbonate carbonate.

Trona is found at various locations in the USA including Owen's Lake and Searles Lake, California, Trona, California (together with Borax) and in the Nile Valley in Egypt.
