Help with holder size for ~6.5" x 12" back
So I should have coming (hopefully soon) a camera that has an approx. 6.5" x 12" back on it. This is an Indian made camera - I am assuming that it is some form of plate size, but I can't find any info on it.
Anyone have any ideas? I would love to get my hands on a wet plate holder for it if possible.

More specifically, the ground glass is 6-1/4"x11-3/4".

Your only chance to get a wet-plate holder for this camera is to have one custom made. There are several people who do this.

I could go that route, and I might, I was just hoping that this was some kind of standard size.
I don't even know what to look for until I know what size this really is.

Jeff, Have a look at Black Art Woodcraft's website. You won't find higher quality products and Steve Silipigni is a great guy to do business with. He's insane about quality and he makes some awesome custom plate-holders. Keep in mind with a wet-plate holder you can do various sizes because the plates ride in an insert. So with an 8x10 camera you can do 8x10 ( actually a 10x10) 5x7, 1/2 plate, 1/4 plate....ect.

My Indian Vageeswari plate camera came with a plate holder; the ground glass is 6 1/2 x 12 inches. I always buy those cameras WITH as many holders the seller has for them. That is because plate holders from two cameras that are the same size do not fit each other?! I have two Vageesware 12 x 10s and the plate holders do not interchange. Go figure. Ask the seller for one that fits.
