Default Dance & Coal

The Southeast Museum of Photography located in Daytona has two current exhibits worth viewing. Coal Hollow by Ken Light and Resonating Fields by Lois Greenfield. Ken's work was taken on frequent trips into coal-mining country of West Virginia, and has the FSA look. Lois work is of dancers caught in motion - beautiful work.

That's a great place to visit! It is on the campus of Daytona Beach Community College, but it's not your average school gallery. They have a great selection of the 'masters' in their permanent collection and regularly rotate very interesting exhibits through the galleries. DBCC's photography program is very analog and very strong, likely the only one like it in Florida these days. If anyone is passing through and has time, I would highly recommend a visit. Check their hours before visiting, and shoot me a PM if you want some company.
