The Flagler Loop is a 23 mile scenic roadway that runs from just south of Flagler Beach down to Ormond Beach; and is considered one of the more scenic areas of NE Florida (see
Save The Loop site for info & images). We're having an outing the weekend of February 10th with some camping at Tomoka State Park. For those of us who are just driving down for the day, we plan to rendezvous Feb 10th, 8AM at the parking lot near intersection of Walter Boardman Road & Florida Hiking Trail ( just West of HighBridge Road). There are numerous pull-offs along the roadway for those who want to photograph from the convenience of their car; and several hiking trails in the adjacent State Parks (eg,
North Peninsula,
Tomoka,
Bulow Creek, and
Bulow Plantation Ruins State Parks).
