    Hi Hexavalent,
    Absolutely not. The Sands SDE3008 works as a green sensitizer even when it is the last component added to the make(with at least 15 minutes mixing.)..
    The reason that I am working to find an alternative dye is COST. The SDE3008, like the red sensitive SDA3057 is just too expensive. All my emulsions are Br/I.

    All conventional modern dyes should be added just before the finals just before coating. Hold time is usually 15 mins. at 105F.
