Default Source for large rolls of 120 acetate film base?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a source for acetate film base suitable for photographic use?

I am looking for something that could be coated and used in place of regular 120 film.

Thanks from,

Emulsion.

The only large scale production relict of the Agfa/AgfaPhoto plant in Leverkusen is the film base department. They still offer tri-acetate film bases. This department is now called `OpCo GmbH´. (PET bases are still produced at Agfa in Mortsel.)

You could also inquire at `Filmotec´ in Wolfen. Beside from manufacturing PET-based camera and print films, they offer leader-films based on acetate and PET.
