Shelf life of dyes in methanol
Hi,
Anyone care to venture a guess as to how long a solution of dye in methanol can be kept in the dark?
Thanks,
Bill

Bill - I'm sure it depends on your dyes.
Anyway, I'd try using glass bottles with teflon lined caps to give maximum life.

Bill;
It depends on dye and bottle as well as temperature. The colder you keep it the longer it keeps. The dye should also be protected from light.
