Default a little of subject-reclaiming silver from emulsion

Hi,

I have several containers of silver gelatin emulsion, that is several years old.

How can I reclaim the silver from it? Can I put it into a vat of fixer and then process the fixer???

Thank You In Advance,

Corey

Yes, you can to both of your questions. You may want to dry it out so it doesn't make a gelatinous goo in your fixer though.

Do you know they are no good? If not, you may want to offer it to someone that may like to play with it.
