Default Emulsion making chemicals

The Photographers Formulary is now offering several chemicals that will be of interest to emulsion makers. They've had phthalated gelatin for a while now so you can isowash your emulsions instead of ricing them. And this week, they have added TAI (4-hydroxy-6-methyl-1,3,3a,7-tetrazaindene) and PMT (1-phenyl-5-mercaptotetrazole) in solution. (I'm guessing they are 1% solutions?) They are offered at $12.95 for 100 mls and $6.95 for 30 mls.

Both of these compounds are used as stabilizers for emulsions.

Thanks Kirk,

It is good to know that someone is stocking small quantities of these chemicals.
