Experience of Zenith microscopes
Does anyone have experience of Zenith microscopes? They seem to be made by LOMO but also seem to have a reputation for good value and consistent quality.
The model I am considering is the Zenith Ultra-500LM Laboratory Microscope, which is available in the UK for £310.00.
Regards,
David

David, have you searched and asked on usenet? IIRC there used to be a group named something like sci.microscopy.
Cheers,

"They seem to be made by LOMO but also seem to have a reputation for good value and consistent quality."
I think of Lomo as a reputable optics company that makes specialised high-end lenses for all kinds of purposes, at comparatively low prices. A number of them are made to be sold by other companies at fairly high prices (ie motion picture lens prices), with their origin kept quiet.

...or... you could get yourself a nice Wild-Heerbrugg, Nikon or Olympus, second hand on ebay for about the same price... it's up to you, of course!
