The ACP in Paddington are running an interesting project over the next 12 months with Melbourne photographer Robert Besanko. Each month they will show one of his original prints from the 1970s and '80s along with a contemporary re-print of the image. The current image is the one attached - a subtle Kodalith print. The display is great - it's in a dark room with a dramatic pool of light on the the two prints. His style is reminiscent of the work of Sarah Moon and Ralph Gibson from that era while still being original. The current display closes this Sunday.
