Probably about 1000 AUD, depending on condition, so as much as about 1300, and as little as about 800.

Thanks Kevin, I was thinking around 1100, 1200. So are you thinking 1300 for REALLY good examples?

Have a look at KEH
http://www.keh.com/Camera/format-Med...c=79293&r=WG&f
The seem to range from $650 US for BGN early model to $1500 US for a black late model, factor in $150 for postage though and there you have $800 -1650 which sounds about right.

Excellent.
Actually I'm looking at one locally but the seller is a bit sneaky. . .

Mine is a 1977 model and it was in pretty good condition when I bought it about eight years ago. I paid about $1500 back then, and they still seem to max out around that price, so I guess in real terms they are getting cheaper. There is a big difference between say a mid-1970s model and an early 1990s model.

I'll check the serial number then.

Sneaky would stop me from buying!

We're talking 500 C/Ms?
Apart from age (and probable wear), only a few minor differences. Cosmetics, mostly.

Sneaky in a non-threatening kind of way.
