Yep, just finished watching it.....very interesting. Nice, um, err, cameras....
-
Yeah. Not really a photography doco.
I found it rather boring and the photography fairly mediocre. But that's just me.
-
It was nice, though, seeing that big camera being used. Yes, the doco was about porn stars, but I actually found some of their comments interesting - heck, they even started to sound like normal people, just doing a job.
About the photography - I suppose you need to ask, what else can be done with a big camera like that in the studio?
-
Hoffy,
Some of them were very interesting. I wonder what happened to Tera Patrick...
I don't know, the lighting was bland IMO facial expressions etc... left a lot to be desired for me. However, I couldn't do any better. And it wasn't all about the face
I have a book of Greenfield-Sanders, and I had the same reaction to the pictures in it, with the exception of 5 or so.

Yeah, you may have a point. It certainly was a case of standard portrait lighting.

Looking at his results, I never understood the big deal with TGS. They might be interesting people but they're certainly not interesting portraits. The porn thing seems a desperate attempt to get more attention and little more.
